Hello! It's been a long while since I released THE FOREST OF NOISE, and in that time I've been busy:

• moving halfway across the world
• playing a lot of amazing games made by some really inspiring people on this website, and
• working on this project.

the dark is a soft, warm pressure is a game that blends visual novel elements with video and minigame-ish scenes. The text is a series of transmissions (mostly in second-person directly addressing the player) coming from someone who has been completely disconnected from their body. You are asked to recover their body, piece by piece, by going through their memories, hopefully easing their depersonalization. 

The demo will be available on Halloween 2022. Please reach out to me with any questions or issues you have with this build of the demo, and I'll be hard at work trying to resolve all of them.

P.S. the demo has a feature that saves your progress at the end of each gameplay scene (when you get a message saying that you "found" a part/system), so it doesn't have to be completed in one sitting.
